The 150 used the same case but the prop shaft is splined the same as the Merc Super Speedmaster

If the model tag is still in the cowl pan I believe B8HS is a 69 model.

Sam did you ever complete this History of Chrysler Outboards somewhere? I know you said you wanted to start over to clean it up and put it back in order. Send me a link if its out there somewhere. I used the search function, but found nothing.

I just went through all my old mag's looking for any Chrysler racing ad's and found none.

I did find ad's for some rare Chrsyler inboards. How about a 340 or 440 6 pack?
I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

You can hear Bill Edwards Stacker at the end of the video . This was taken in November at Travares ,Fla Bill runs his boat at one speed and sounds really nice even when he is next to ya at 6000 rpm. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIE_lKnIf74

    overheating with stacks!

I am getting very frustrated with this. Need help
this is probably a day late, but the buypass checkvalve & spring need to be removed & all corosion removed & a gasket made to allow water to enter stack plate, no thermo. needed,on old style heads!!
