Inboard Hydroplane Race Footage on "Sea Hunt"

This morning, I saw an episode of "Sea Hunt" starring Lloyd Bridges, which incorporated Inboard Hydroplane Race Footage into the screen play. This footage had one of the Inboard Hydroplanes crashing into a Coast Guard Patrol Boat. The footage showed the aftermath of the crash, which was significant. The footage also showed a rescue helicopter in action, and a driver from another hydro diving into the water to help. "Sea Hunt" is such a low budget series that I have to believe that the race & accident related footage was real and not staged.

This episode has the title of "Skipper" and was released in 1961. The other cast members were Mark Andrews, Jana Lund, and Grant Lockwood. With this info, I hope that you can track it down and get a chance to see it.
