Removing scuffs/scrathes from ProMax cowlings?
Hi
I was told that light scuffs and scratches etc. could be buffed out of these cowlings since they are plastic. How and what to use to get it done?
Thanks

Use a 1200 grit wet sanding paper,go over lightly,if you can feel the scratch with your finger nail,it will be to deep to get completly out, when you buff it have someone hold it for you or leave on motor..

Thanks for the replies guys. I do appreciate the advice but some of it I do not feel comfortable doing myself. I actually called Meguiar's to see if they have a product for this and I was told to use a cleaner wax first with a random buffer machine. If that does not do it I'm taking your advice to a body shop and see what they think. It is not really scratched just marks on it here and there.
