    Convert left hand rotation to right?

    What is involved? besides a right hand gearcase

    On Mercury/Mariner you will also have to change the controls.
    If I remember correctly, on a right hand Merc outboard, the shift cable is pulled to shift into forward gear, and on the left hand outboard (counterrotation) the shift cable is pushed to go into forward.

    Merc ...I did do a 'search' and located some info...flywheel , starter and reposition the pickup...any other help would be welcome

    Left hand is all in the lower unit and shift the opposite as DanielC said. No other changes need to be made. Usally the shift changes are made at the shifter and change the lower unit.
