I want to buy and engine hoist? Where?

I am tired of renting engine hoists. I want to buy one, but where?
I could buy one in cyberspace but shipping is real exensive. I need the type that rolls around on cement, I can't hang it from garage.

OK, I know it's cheap and probably made in China, but Harbour Freight sells that kind of stuff cheap. I wouldn't buy it for a production shop, but for the garage mechanic that uses it occasionaly, the stuff is fine.

    go with Kaptain Kirk!

I got mine at Northern Tool, we have one in town, so didn't have to pay shipping..... After a little sweet talking with the cute cashier girl, I managsed to get mine for 139.99, fayter her discount, with the load equalizer for doing car engines... Its the TALL cherry picker type, and it folds up as well, so doesn't take up too much space... plenty stable, plenty strong... here's the link for the one I got.... Can get a few pic if ya want of it folded up too.. lemme know....

    Hoists!

ya' probably got it at Northern already, but when I was in my search for the hoist, I looked everywhere, from Harbor frieght, to some of the auto store around town, and so on, and they all seemed to be pretty much the same if your talking the folding type, then it's just a matter of color and price... I think I took the cake with my price, but, well, it did cost me dinner for two as well, and well, a few other benifits... All that for an engine hoist! hahahahaha
    Later, enjoy.....
