    transom plate

I need one.... is there a source for ready made plates? i'm talking maybe over the transom to the bottom of the jackplate , maybe 14-16" wide and include the 3-4" splashwell in one piece..

    all help appreciated

I had a local steel shop cut one from stainless, you will have to provide them with the drilling pattern or else drill the holes yourself
they made inner and outer plates, now that I provided the drilling template they kept it in their computer.

If you check with a local welder who works on boats he might be able to help you and avoid shipping costs, or a steel shop. To include the splashwell in one piece they will probably need the boat to account for varying transom thickness

J.H. If you want it made out of say .250 alum you are better off to shear and weld the corners at the top. It's too tight of a radius to bend without fracturing the material as well as up , across and down as being very close together to get good corners.
Tell ya what , get your brother to come over and cut , sand , drill , and fit all the stuff without any help , and you can have it for free ... other wise I'll trade ya some injector work , for whatever size , shape , routered edge , gucci piece your little heart desires ..
