What powerheads will fit under a 2006 225 optimax cowl.
I'm considering swapping powerheads this winter is it possible to fit a 300x under a 2006 3.0 225 opti. Will the plates and tuner physically fit in my mid.imy motor runs great right now,its just a bit small for our boat.Any ideas if its been done and what would be needed to do it.

A 250xs or a 300xs would fit.
