1" intake spacer
i have a 135 merc and was wondering what a 1" intake spacer kit does?

Tha 135 haz a vert reeds front.....Never seen a spacer for tha vert front...I tried make'in one, but wuz too much crap to deel wit...U will be better off put'in tha 1" blocks between tha carbs andd tha manifold...They work almost az good az tha spacer between tha reeds and manifold, juss takes 3 instead ov one....
Tha 1" spacers increase intake velosity, and give quicker throttle response down low, and in midrange...Meenz NUTH'IN for top end rpm!!

hi T Rex i have a 135 black max with horizontal reed's.
I am after extreme performance what other mods would be worth doing?

the class that we run over here in australia is circut racing and requires that we run a 2 ltr motor we have no rules {motor wise} besides nitro and 3 or more over sized pistons. price doesnt matter

this is a carbie class so no f1 if we could run one we would
when i said price doesn't matter i meant no price for mods not for a new motor
but does any one know where a sst120 power head is for sale

You can convert the F1 2L engines to carbs.
An SST120 won't do you any good as they are just a high port version of the std 2L. You can copy the SST120 porting, add horizontal front half and light flywheel and your 135 is basically the same. If you want to go farther with it, copy the 2.4 finger ports in your 2L.
