where does a person find a turbine engine cheap?

150's are pretty cool. You can find them cheap on Military Gen Sets.

An Allison 250-C18 will go for $10-12K, 317 hp, 148 pounds. There is also a 250-C20B at 420 hp, much more $$$.

i was diggin at lunch i found a nice 3 phase generator caught my eye
but no turbine jet motors yet
they use to have a truck load cheap you could get three four and build one two out of spare parts i could get my hands on a few if i really did some looking

seems these refurbish company,s have bought up the surplus and are cleaning them and and re marketing them
there was a time a few years back i saw several all under 3 grand
so it short it looks like its who you know to get one these days or they will buy it up

i came to the same conclusion and now im thinking power plant options..........subaru,snomobiles,jetski,all kinds of crazy thoughts , outboard looking better all the time
