TrailblazerSS problem
The temp gauge on my 08 Trailblazer SS is reading cold even after running down the interstate and the check gauges light is on. I'm going to take a guess and say it's the sending unit for the temp gauge. Can someone tell me where that sending unit is located?

Left front of engine in the cyl head. Should be right at the #1 spark plug area.

Thats exactly where it was! I bought a new one at Discount auto parts ($22.-) and put it in and nothing changed. I then unhooked the battery and it must have cleared the code or something cause when I reconnected the battery and started it back up, the gauge worked and the A/C that went off when the check gauges light came on started working again.
