Homemade Dash
Made myself a homemade dash today using 1/2 inch and 1/4 inch plywood . The dash is for my humber jewel i have been restoring and need to get in the water!!!. first how i buit it : first i figured out the space between my windshield i made and the dash and thats how high the guage dash is then i figured the depth and made a half circle with that measurment once done that i made a quarter circle with the same radius as the bottom half circle creating the curved slope. once i had created the frame i resined all the wood to seal it. once the resin is hardened i will procide to cover the frame with cotton cloth, resin the cloth, then fiberglass mat the cloth, and then finaly bondo then paint. to put it in short i have made a dash the same way some one would make a sub box
