Wanted to update this thread. I currently have a 200 XRI stock. I am getting 76 on GPS with a 26 chopper. I can't wait to get a jack plate and low water pickup.Great boat, sits up on the pad like a champ.

WOW......I actually have some old VHS video ftg of some of the races over there. Stood on the bank at Lake Ferguson and watched. Had a guy from here run in one and flipped his boat. Small world

His name is Danny Courson, He was running a hydrostream hst I believe. He has been bottoms up a couple of times.
The old vid is on vhs, and I know I need to get all those tapes copied to cd, just hadn't done it

Were they cored boats, came across a 17' but being 27 years old I can expect a lot of rot, sure would be nice to own one though. It has the non aging look like the Hydrostream.

I sure would like to know how they were made, core material or not? What kind of resin, probably basic poly for Starcraft and performance boats, but I'd think Laser may have used vinalester resin, but not sure and definitely would like to know about coring?

I don`t know about stock production Laser hulls but But my 1982 Laser 380 comp is kevlar w/klegycell bottom. Stringers, knee`s and transom were wood when new but I recently replaced the rotten wood with coosa.

Bull I think you should probably just sell your 380 to me. I mean wouldn't you just feel better knowing that it appreciated and being used and bringing joy to not only myself but my 6yr old little girl would LOVE it too!!
But seriously, anybody on this thread know of of ANY Laser 380 or any copies of one for sale, blown motor, no motor, needing work or whatever is fine with me..

Wow, that's close to me too! Think you can get me a phone number or any pics etc!? I've been praying that I would find a way to get my family and I back on the water, ESP with the super hot sticky summer months fast approaching! It's the best way to do something fun for my wife, my Daughter and ESP myself!
