Yamaha HPDI VZ200 Prop?
I just bought a new leftover 2009 Stratos 294 Pro XL with a 09 Yamaha HPDI VZ200 2 stroke. The dealer installed a Yamaha 15-1/8 x 27 VMAX Prop. Just seems like way to much prop to me. Does anyone have any idea if this is close to the right setup or any suggestions on what their running on similar boat.

I think your pretty close. I like that wheel. Would run 80 on my flats boat when I had the 250 yami. My flats boat is heavier than your boat. What rpm are you spinning it to? I think yami recomends at least 5400.

I haven't had a chance to run it flat out yet. I'm still in the break in mode. It gets on a plane pretty quick though. It just seemed like a lot of prop for a 200. Wondered what someone else was running on a 19' Bass Boat with a 200 Yamaha.
