any help greatly appreciated.

Air conditioning started blowing hot air. the compressor would kick on, but only blow hot air. I added two cans of r134 as it showed it was low on my my little gauge that you add the r134 with. if you are parked the compressor will kick on and blow cold air. but when you drive the compressor never kicks on.

any ideas on what would cause that?

orfice tube might be plugged up , try reving motor when parked and see if the comp kicks out if it does check with gauge and see if pressure drops too low , the low pressue switch will cut out and the compressor will drop out.hope my rambling helps
