Help pricing a Eliminator Scorpion, are they good?
Met a guy on the water yesterday driving a Scorpion 21 and he told me to make him an offer, this is what I know,
Its not a Scorpion, but a knockoff.
I think its about 19 or 20ft.
It needs paint as its pretty sun beaten.
Windshield is broken.
Lefthand steering with trim and jackplate controls on wheel.
Has a smal softspot in the floor.
Transom seems fine.
Has a 1992 175 stock Merc in good condition and LWP.
I know its a project boat but really have no idea what a fair offer would be. I will try to get a picture soon. Thanks guys for any help
Also are these boats any good, any info would be great.

He said the brand was Baker not Eliminator, but it looks exactly like a Scorpion.

There nice boats, with a stock 175, broke windshield, soft spot in the floor and faded paint. I would say around 5,000. You can pick Scorpions up for around 9,000 to 12,000 that are in nice shape with bigger motors. Sounds like this one set outside and in Florida that means year round, check the transom good.
The above is just an opinion,,,hope it works out for you.21 Obsession Vortex, Johnson V8
21 Obsession Vortex, Mercury 2.5

Thanks guys, I cant take a picture because Im offshore. I only saw the boat in the water and couldnt really see the hull. I will check it out when i get home and make an offer but it wont be very high as I really want a bigger motor than a 175. Any idea how fast it will be with a 2.5 EFI 175? He said about 80, but that seems high and he was using spedo not GPS.
