Snowmobile message boards?
Anyone here a member of a good Snowmobile message board like this? The boating info and people on this board is absolutely amazing and exremely helpful. I would like to find the same for my Winter hobby, Snowmobiling.

www.trailconditions.com is a decent board during the season. Its intended purpose is for posting trail conditions, snow depth, etc. in specific regions, there is a board for each state and province, as well as MI upper and lower. I think there's some links to other sites on there, too...

Ok So I missed this post?
I just asked about sled sites and here there was one already?
Damn I miss Michigan! I grew up there and moved away when I was 18. Now at 44 I realize what a great place it was. We had an actual log cabbin (built by my grandfather) in West Branch on Elk Lake, then a house just outside Gladwin. Don't think there's a city, town or county in Michigan I did'nt boat, ski or sled in! I miss the state something awful!Scott

for some reason snow "avoided" the state last winter. Minnesota and NY got it, but hardly anything here.
Here's a slightly, mildly, accurate map of snow cover:

That site, www.intellicast.com and www.accuweather.com are the two best weather sites on the net.'89 Hydrostream Vegas XT, '90 Merc 2.4 Bridgeport PCU EFI

Amsnow.com has very good forums. Some are free, some require a membership but its cheap.

www.snowest.com
This site has over 6000 members and the forum works similar to this one, in some respects it's even better. Greg should take a look at it.
