Thats a tough question. First of all you have to learn how to drive a Vector. Seat time is the only ansewer. The speed you can reach is solely on your driving experience along with your budget. Safety first, set it up with dual cable steering adjusted for zero play, solid mounts are a must along with a kill switch. Then get some seat time and go up from there. That hull will go into the low 100's but only if you can control it. Get to know what that hull will do when you get in trouble, it's easy to correct at 60-65 but could be disasterous at 80 +. It's a real fun boat, but know your own limitations. Welcome to S&F, you will get all the ansewers here. always good to ask before you make a big mistake, and with a Vector , thats real easy to do.

PM Vecman (Donnie Lott) he used to race one. How is your core? I know after he sold his the new owner split the hull. Make sure you have a good solid core. My Valero had the core redone and still delaminated. Safety first and know your limitations. It takes some wheel time.
