Going back to the photo at post #66 on this thread...........On another boating forum Brownie immediately replied "Jack Stuteville". Butch and Jackie each implied the same on this thread. You are all correct and therefore must entertain him at OFF2010 - Steve

    Keith Barco

Also, yesterday, I had a nice meeting with Keith Barco in Jacksonville. As you can see, he has some very impressive machinery in his shop. - Steve

Keith will bring his 20' Allison with canted V-6's like this photo, to OFF2010. BTW red shirt in background is Jim Hunt.

Want to be closer to Cadillac's Place?

In addition to the facilities previously identified, Cadillac McDaniel has provided the following info. These facilities are near his place where we will have our In Water day on Saturday, 9 October from 9:00AM until approximately 5:00PM. Additionally, there is a Marina close by with lift capability if your boat cannot be trailer launched at Cadillacs boat ramp.

If you have the chance to make it to Jupiter, Florida on the 1st weekend in October to attend OFF2010, you won't be disappointed! It's a "Once in a Lifetime Opportunity" to be there to see the # 33 Cesare Scotti dual Evinrude - Molinari (Winner Havasu '69), a dual 300 HP Wing, A Kitsoncraft or a Seebold F-1. That's besides the Geico Off Shore boats, or even down to A hydro's. You get to meet these famous drivers and owners of these "Historically Important" Unlimited Factory Outboard Tunnel Hull Racing boats from the '60's, '70's, '80's, '90's and even into the 21 Century, all at OFF 2010. So, mark that weekend on your calendar, and if you have a chance, I highly recomend that you attend this "Historic event!"

    Do Not Miss OFF2010

OOOPS!! I think that the previously "embedded" Youtube may have "Screwed the pooch" to the thread for awhile. Hopefully this action will resolve that.

The below link should take you to the Youtube short history of OFF. - Seeroy

WOW. Only 5 weeks to go! Just a quick note to tell everyone that we have not fallen off the edge of the earth. Some pretty cool things are starting to happen that I can't talk about yet......But soon. Some new names that everyone will recognize and some truly unique boats are starting to come into the picture. In case you have not seen it yet, how about this. Yes, you will get to see Rich Luhrs do this!!!

Rich - Of course you can watch...But that means I get to drive!

All - I just spoke with Jerry Howard after 45 years. He sounded very enthused and said he is 90% sure he will be there.
I also spoke with Reggie Fountain today, He also sounded very enthused and said he will try to get there.

Cadillac is working on showing some very unique boats at his place.

8th of October (OFF open day at the Geicco Team shop) is going to be very special day for me as it will be the 32nd anniversary of my 317 mph run.
It would be fun to celebrate it there with Haggin and crew along with a bunch of old farts.

    Scotty,
When did Steve get Knighted ??????
To my knowlege,he only has an M.B.E. from "Lizzy",just like me. M.B.E.= "Many Bloody Efforts". Does,nt quallify for "Sir"......Unless the rules have changed???

I guess "Sir Kenneth" would be nice.....
