Bob and Dave Switzer will be standing on the sidelines watching...That is, unless we can convince them to ride with Rich and Kenny. We are also hoping Mike Mullins will bring his Evinrude powered Molinari, that Cesare Scotti won Havasu with. Can you imagine the historical aspect, and photos, of these 3 boats running together after 40 years?

    # 33 Cesare Scotti driving a Molinari with dual Evinrude X-115's won the 1969 Havasu Outboard World Championship & # 119 Kenny Kitson driving a wing with dual Mercury 125 stackers won the 1968 Havasu Outboard World Championships. Both these boats can be seen in action in the VIDEO- 1969 Havasu Outboard World Championships Day 1 which I moved to page 1 of Outboard Racing History. Who owns wing # T-351 & what's it's history?

Jackie was born, before water was invented. Thats why he lived so long. He had to wait for water to be developed, before he could race boats!

    Real or Cardboard Cutout???

Jackie – As to your conversation with Rotary John……Well now, whether or not you grace us with your living and physical presence in October, you will be here. I will erect one of those cardboard cutouts and past your photo on it. We will talk to it and get about the same response as if it were really you. Holy Smokes!!! I’m starting to sound like Willabee!!! - Seeroy

Saw Gerry down at Key West a couple of years back. Went to The then new Disney World in Orlando in 1969 with him. We were both staying with Pruett at that time. Gerry tried to teach me how to Juggle 3 oranges at any one time. He was ace at it and i never got the hang of it. He is worse than i ever knew how to be, and never grew up, he still acts like a 17 year old. Another of my favourite people.

    Deeesneeey

Disney World....Appropriate at the moment since Iris and I will be taking our 3 & 5 year old grand daughters there next week for their first visit.

Many years ago I was flying a group of visiting Russian Air Force officers across Florida in a C-130. The ranking Russian General had requested to sit in the cockpit Navigators seat. I allowed him to wear a headset, which he did. He feigned to not understand English until I mentioned to my co-pilot that we had just flown over Disney World. The Russian immediatly jumped out of his seat, plastered his face against the window and excitedly hollered, "Deeesneeey, Deeesneeey, where eees Deeesneeey?"

Donald Duck had three mischevious nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie. No doubt other 1969 visitors thought that Wilson, Pruett and Gilbreath were those nephews. Although they would have wondered why 2 nephews were 6'4"+ while the third could barely see over the rim of the whirling teacups. By the way I am the same height as you....and barfed as soon as I exited the teacups the first time. I think this time I will stay out of those damn teacups.

Good Day Rich - Actually the formula is pretty simple.

Big circle + positive G + kill the other guy before he kills you = GOOD

Tiny circle (i.e. spin on my own axis) + screaming kids = BAD

Never got motion sick in a boat or airplane. The closest I ever came was with Bob Magoon going around Long island. We popped a motor. I went below deck to radio into race control. Rocking motion + gas fumes = BAD
