I don't believe so, our government decided it was bad.

I think it's been replaced by AME 5000, a low VOC product, more enviromentally friendly, which usually means not as good

A few years ago I was looking for some ame 4000 and couldn't find it in small quantity. RBT told me about Reichhold Hydrex 100. We use it all the time and the stuff works great. We purchase it from Express Composites http://www.expresscomposites.com/
and they ship it.
Last I heard of someone getting AME resin was from a boat builder who had it in bulk and was willing to pour off some.....

Reichold 100 hydrex is great stuff, used a lot of it.. Steve 1 told me about some resin he uses called Interplastic VE 8121 It is probably great stuff also. I havent used it myself...

Believe me you don't want or need AME 4000 or 5000 , What Xstreamvking is telling you is right.
