swamping engines
i want to put a 460 ford in a 76 sidewinder that had a 455 olds.can i use the cross member the olds engine sat on, or do i need a different one.

dont believe the olds mt will work on the ford, will also need an exhaust system and a different drive shaft pto adapter puck.

i have ford exhaust and ford drive shaft.just wondering about the mount. or how to mount the engine in boat. the mounts that are on the motor are from a ss taylor. the sidewinder i have. the engine space is alot narrower.

think i got her figured out,the ford mounts side in. i need 2 inches on each side. thanks for the help
