First Time in the Water - STV
Several Months ago i got the bug for a Outboard, wanted the acceleration and sound of all that RPM.On Scream and Fly i found a STV in Lousiana,I'm in California. Not a problem,Jerry Cain brought the Boat to Dallas and we did the transaction there. The condition of the boat was far better than Jerry said on the phone, the pics looked good, but you never know. The Boat looked new. The weather and busness kept the boat on the trailer untill last night about 5:00.I have been running BBC - Jets on Havasu for years and will always have a jet because i enjoy them, but this outboard thing is something else.Incredble ride for the first time out and i have alot to learn on set up ,trim, etc. But one hell of a ride.
Several times i have called Jerry with dumb questions and he calls back with good information ,Well,if you drive by a STV floating bottom up on Havasu, stop and say hello.

I`ve known Jerry Cain for 30 years or better and you have a good alli on your side. We raced and hunted together for many years and he`s probably forgot more about racing than most know.
That is for sure a very nice STV and kinda one of a kind color sceam. Have fun in it. Maybe get Al to step up the hp some.

stoker
Al Stoker. OMC Guru. Lucky for you he is local ( Orange County ) He is likely the only person qualified to work on your motor within 2k miles.

How fast is your stv running with the Taylor 3.0 ? rpm ? I bet its a fun ride.
Someday I will have Al build me another motor that spins more rpm. I only hit 7k now.
