not sure of the weight, it's pretty solid though, this same boat, same set-up but with 2.5 mod offshore motor ran mid-high 80's at 6700 rpm easy, took off big motor and put this motor on hopeing for 70's and make it a little safer...bone stock 150 my not cut it...we will see...

It should run that with an xr-4 i'm thinking. Many 17ft skeeters/nitro's run mid 60's with tm's,gear etc with a 24p and a xr-4. Your boat should be lighter/able to set up better I would think.

Hell even in 18.5 bb's running 65 isn't unheard of with a 150.
