Rigging tube to Yamaha 130. Clamp for tube at engine?

I installed a TH Marine rigging tube today to clean up the transom. The motor has a 2" OD rubber grommet that the hose slips over and its snug but not tight. I would like something nicer than a hose clamp or big zip tie to snug it down. Any suggestions?

I thought this might work well.

Looks like a nice way to end the hose. I can't see any reason it wouldn't work...

The only problem I see with that is its pretty permanent. I think your going to end up cutting the hose if you need to remove it.

The rigging hose id pretty stiff stuff, I wonder how much force that heat shrink clamp can make. Did you try taking the grommet off and just feeding the hose through the pan?

Thats is similar to what I have now but on the engine side, the hose fits snuggly over instead of into the adapter. I may just go with an anodized radiator hose clamp. Cheap bling and will hold it in place.
