Installing hull mounted water pickup questions

Hello,

I want to install hull mounted water pickups for the center 350 Verados. Does anyone know exactly were to plumb into for the fitting for the motors?

I have the same boat w trip 300 verados.... Quad 350's.... Wow! I have seen only 74mph. What will that monster do 90+???? I am told they will do 80 w trip 350's.
Water pickups may void your warranty... Are the pickup holes on the side of the center gearcases plugged.... Mine are plugged w set screws on the center motor.

If you must run the pickups, run the hose from the transom to the gearcase. Case must be drilled and tapped. Or you could go straight to powerhead. But, you must run a inline check valve between transom and motor. At slow speed it uses the motors water pump. At high speed pressure from transom scoop will push water to powerhead. Check valve is so water pump doesnt push cooling water out the transom scoop at slow speed when there is not enough pressure on scoop to push water all the way to powerhead.
