    Yeah...

Give us all the specs on your setup so we can use it for a guide line.

    '93 Pro Max cooling mods

    My set up.
    1) (4) diverters placed @ 11:00 on 3 & 5 and 1:00 on 4 & 6.
1/4 fuel line used as diverters.

    2) used quaters with 3/16 holes in place of thermostats.

    3) removed poppet valve guts, and rubber ring around plastic
    ring.

    4) blocked off wheap hole on poppet valve cover.

    5) put dump hose on poppet valve cover.

    6) ran a dump off each head.

    7) kept triangle hole below poppet valve that runs to center
section open. too much press. when blocked off.

    After went test run, had 12psi @ 4000, 18psi @ 5000, 22psi @ 6000. the temp got 125.

The cover and pan is stock and also used stock promax gaskets.

    thanks again

I'll help anyone with this set up that i can.

his is simply this......2.4 ovalport with bridgeport offshore EFI, 2.5 cowl and pan, no poppet whatsoever not even a plastic ring, a diverter under each head, two quarters with holes in em, one hole poppet cover with a hose off it one head run into the other and out, and thats it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i tried on 2 of my 2.4's and even had the same setup with a 2.4 ovalport with offshore EFI on it and could not get it to run as cool as his with the exact same setup!! but he has one badass waterpump!!!!!!! that sucker will pull a tree off the bank!!
If that's the same Big D then I would probably do the exact opposite of anything he says as he keeps his speed secrets close to the vest. LOL

Save this one cuz it could answer some of your cooling question.
Good Read with explanations about 2pc Exhaust adator plates vs one piece , how poppit valve works, water diverters in block placment, exct. Even info in here on what OEM temps & water pressure should be at.
