Wow... Looking good. How long did it take you to get all the core out and cleaned up?

have a question-see where ive stopped removing core in the aft sides, where the flotation is. like to leave the floatation the way it is. or should it come out? or can i clean out the core, wet new core and slid it in. and leave the structure the way it is.

It looks like you have made great progress.
I love watching these rebuilds threads! Your clean up looks real smooth!

One question, why not remove all the wiring and rigging during the rebuild?
You may find it easier to clean and rebuild the boat without all that hanging around. I can also get messed up and covered in glassing materials when you get to that stage. Probably easier to take it out now than clean it up later.

Also, I would remove all the old foam in the boat. Its like a sponge, when it gets wet it will hold the moisture for a while.
It is not essential, but if it was me doing the rebuild, I would remove all the foam.
Besides, might give you some extra space in the cockpit and maybe save a couple pounds.

    NIce project!!!

I thought about taking the rigging and wiring out, fact got halve way started, and asked myself why are you taking this out-so you can put it back in. don't plan to change anything. wirings good. sitting up there on the flotation boxes. its out of the way. but yea i'm being a little lazy, guess i'll just have to laugh it off. as for the flotation box's I plan on keeping the flotation, its not wet. and it is flotation. i'd feel better with flotation in the bay, hey could be in the gulf on those nice days. sinking's a drag. thank- they are nice projects. gotta really want to do it though.
