    optimax's flywheel

    Does anyone know how can i remove the flywheel on an optimax 200?
    If i remove it do i have to put it back in the exact location ?

    Also Lightening the flywheel makes any difference?
    I am asking this because searching the forum i found that half of the people say it makes difference and half that it doesen't.

    You need a flywheel removal tool, the crankshaft is tapered and when the nut is tightend down, it presses the hub on. Trying to remove it any other way may damage the flywheel. The crankshaft has a key in it, so it can only go on one way. Anytime you can lighten rotating mass is a good thing, will it be a noticable performance gain? probibly not, but it sure wont hurt anything.
