It looks great relatively speaking of course...I did sharpen the impeller blades and straighten them out last time I removed it. I'll take it out once the river clears debris a little bit more...

Anyone know if those branches and bark I found in the impeller intake are enough to slow my speed/performance down to 25%? I didn't see any other reason my boat would've slowed down so much out there...?

Yes that will cause a big change in performance. One small twig or rock will cause you to loose thrust, can even throw it so out of balance that it feals like the motor is going to shake apart. Should be ok after it is all clear of trash. Good luck with it, let us know how long it lives with the J B. And by all means keep a life jacket on the beer chest.
