3rd annual Current River Polar Bear River Run

Doniphan Boat Ramp 11:00am Feb. 6th (Now the 7th)
We plan to run from Doniphan to the gravel bar directly above Deer Leap boat ramp, build a large bon fire (for warmth), eat lunch shoot the bull and then head back down river. We have had a excellent time the past 2 years and look forward to another.

Weather permitting:
Snow we go! Sleet - Rain we stay!

Where is this happening state wise.. Sure it's not close to me.. But does snow sleet Blah Blah here also..

Doniphan is next to the bootheel of Missouri just 30 minutes southwest of Poplar Bluff.

I have received many calls and emails about changing the date to the 7th due to work schedules and the lack of people that would be able to attend On the 6th so with that in mind we have moved the date of the run to the 7th. The 7th is a Sunday and we will still meet at the Doniphan boat ramp at 11am.

Please help to get the word out to anyone planning on attending and we will be looking forward to seeing everyone there again this year.

i was raised in grandin nearly all of my life, but have been gone since 1977. didn't even know that they held that race. when wayne cline was killed in an experimental, or ultra lite plane accident, we bought his boat. it has been a work in progress ever since. looks nothing like it did when he had it.
