Special would mean we own part of the motor as a sponsorship so it wasn't all his to sell. Its that plain enough explanation.

Ski Racing
I think the verado in Ski racing smoc is a good thing with all the new electronics should make it safer for racers, i dont buy into merc vs omc thing, i mean ive had both and both are great motors but there engine manufactures build products to sell and both at the end of the day they couldnt care less about who they sell to its about making money ive had issues with both and it always cost you, but thats the chance you take with outboards.
Good work Troy being the first to think out side the 2 stroke box good effort hope it goes well for you.

Verado
I have been doing some research on the verados and as far as i can see the only difference between 250 and 300 is the ecu program can you flash the computers without any issues and still run smoc.

Noy 100% sure but apparently the fly by wire throttle system has been banned in some ski racing federations, maybe someone can shed some light on this?
