My friends Crownline 224 Cuddy Cabin got my initial bug, then my first boat was an '89 Larson Senza 21' Cuddy 350Mag. After I got that boat I started reading about 'Streams and wanted one ever since. Now I have a Vector and have yet to get 'er wet. I can't wait.

Circa 1987, Daddy had the fastest boat on the lake, and he let me drive it too.

a ride in a 1988 vegas with a 220 laser on it started my addiction. Other hot boats on the lake at the time were a vegas with a 200, checkmate with a 200, 16' check/baja with a 1140, another 16' check/baja with a 1500, a checkmate with a nasty nitrous equipped small block (actually two of this boat, but only one with nitrous) and a glastron with a small block.
Most were 65-85mph boats, then one of the vegas's was traded in for a 100 mph + triad and the nitrous equipped checkmate approached the triple digits as well.
Now all that is left is the two small block checkmates.

When I was 15 a guy my dad worked with needed a place to store his boat. It was a plum colored vking with yellow and white seats and a 140 looper. He left it at our lake house for two years. Use it if you want to just keep it right side up don't tie up to a dock and keep it clean. Me and my little brother drove the heck out of it .I can't believe we didn't blow it up. In retrospect I would never give the keys to my boat to anyone without me in the boat. Jeff if your reading this thanks.
