Paramount or Reaction????

Looking at both boats, I know the Reaction is a few feet smaller, I like the idea of no inner liner. Any opinions. Need something that will run in swallow water.

I have a paramount and love it. the reaction doesn't have a hook and will be much faster. I get about 58mph out of a 1996 200 johnson.

i guess it depends on what is important to you.

If you are not looking to run in heavy chop the reaction is much quicker... A good freind of mine has a nice one for sale with no motor..... PM me if you are interested

Speed is not that important as long as it will run in the 50's

A Paramount will run 50's with a 200 and give you a much better ride than the Reaction. Plus it's bigger, more storage, etc. The Reaction is a fast openfisherman but the Paramount is a better over all boat. Plus there aren't too many Reactions that have been built recently.

1998 was the last year they were built and those had inner liners! built by princeton boat repair in princeton,fl! paramounts bigger reactions faster.

Just keep an eye on south florida craigslist. They pop up from time to time, were quit a few project reactions and paramounts on there a few months back.
