Building it killer strong with epoxies and way too many gussets. I have a professional boat builder looking over my shoulder for the stuctural parts! The only thing I'm worried about is the rigging. I am sure the boat will break in half before the transom let go after the glass work!

Oh yeah....(yep..glass in gussets..the trans..!)..and do a folded Aluminum, hooked over the transom, inch or so over the lip, and a full, 24x24 plate, the azz end. Distributes the torque. Any decent Machine shop can whip one up quick..long as they have a metal "break"
And ..DO NOT use 'sillycone', the motor through bolts...(wet trans)..use 3M 4200...
Make damn sure steering is spot on, and DO A KILL TETHER! And wear a "jacket"
Best to do trim buttons the wheel, and a hot foot...2 hands the wheel, better than learning to "barefoot", at speed, and ya aint in the boat anymore.
THEN..get'er wet..nail it, and take it from there..many here been there, done it, and aint killed us yet..(old age will get me first..!)..keep us up the progress..! And good luck!

Dude, heres pix my 15 foot Flatty..300 pound, 135 TOP on it. First pic is the motor "plate".off there..still rigging...shows size.
Other is the "gussets"..look close..one just above the trim pump, left side, other off the stringer, right side. No way in hell it would break off..without breaking the boat in half..
Again, more pix, yers, would help us ..

That Hydrostream looks great!! Here is a pic of my Dad's Action. It has some reeeaaallll deep GREEN metalflake, looks great in person and get's comments everywhere he goes with it, even when there are those 100k boats around. The pics don't do it justice.
