200 Mercury XS w/ Sportsman Gear

    I have a 2004 19' Ranger Comanche w/ a 200 Mercury XS Sportsmaster Gear package on a 24 pitch/ 3 blade prop on a Bob's 6" jack plate.
I just recently picked up the boat and am still trying to find the right combo to get maximum speed. I have hit 71 mph but normally run high 60's consistently. The more I read about the Sportsmaster it is for boats which go over 85. Could this be hindering my top end speed? Do you think I should be running faster on this set up?
Just curious, on your input or any tips so I can improve my top end speed. You know, I have to be first to that fishing hole

That sounds like good speeds for a 19 ranger with 200.
