I could never disagree. Living in the 60-70's was great.

Kida sad I wasn't around for the 50's my dad had some good tales from back then. Drag racing and cruising, started taking me when I was around 4. Can't figgure where I got the need for speed.

And this AC DC song put to a Nam vid? You will NEVER see this happen again your life time! But the best times me in war, and the best damn "rockers" KNOWN, in one vid! later.

...such a shame we have such a POS for a President.

...Served back in the 70's here. Picked up pilots that were "target fixated" and had accidents and were shark bait. Saw a bunch of friends killed on the Forrestal and have seen the ghosts on the ship in what we called the "Time Tunnel" that runs from aft and goes up forward past the officers quarters towards the forward cat water breaks.

Guess what I want to is salute those that have served...and well....

..that's some good stuff Robbie321! Here is of the same genre some of our Texas blues players. I used to hand out in both Galveston as well the Third Ward up in Houston and catch the shows. Shoot, I was the only white guy there at most of the shows but I guess they figured if I was crazy enough to show up that I was cool! Partied with Stevie Ray and the guys from "Double Trouble" along with Jimmie after they played the American Legion on HWY 3 in League City,TX back in the early 80's.
We ended up at some house on Dickinson Bayou, raising heck in the boats, and I almost lost my job with GTE as I showed up for work three days later. Good times.....

....here is one for you "Mercury" guys. I have and "Older than Moses" 3.1 225ox66 on my Skeeter 22 bay boat and an old junkyard "'Rude" on the Contender but even though this song pertains to old Merc's it ought to also be applied to those of you that run those black engines on your go fast boats.
Local guy that hit the big time Mark May. Played my old Gibson Explorer through my 1966 Fender Baseman as a pre amp into my Mesa Boogie and wanted to buy the set up. It's not for sale!!

    Enjoy....

Might be a good soundtrack for the videos that I am sure will be taken this holiday weekend for you "Black Motor" guys!!!

Big blues freak myself. Back 70's Illinois, great blues clubs to hit. B.L.U.E.S on North ave, white side of town. And the famous Checker Board lounge black Southside. Lotta whites afraid to go there, but crazy girl I knew dragged me there, and she knew seems everybody! Treated us just fine. I knew the Jimmy Johnson Blues band, and would sit back behind the drummer when they played. Can't find much on him, but they damn sure rocked the house when wound up. Plus here every Sat/Sun night, 6 to midnite NPR radio. Does nothing but old blues!

Dude I LIKE any telling a story (text), that has some meaning the song posted, and why it was slammed into a "toe tapping brain!" Theres some damn great unknown garage bands, etc. This thread was started a long time ago and got wings. As now 500 + pages, I asked Greg..(boss S+F) for "maybe a sticky" He said sure thing.

But as drizzled here today, cooled off, out in the shop. Tomorrow is "Harbors Days" here PNW. Be out in the boat. Tug boat races start noon. 3 heats, 6 wide tugs coming by full speed at 20 knots. The FINAL? Few years back, "Foss Marine" with a BIG AZZ TUG..(and I mean HUGE!). raced the final.."IN REVERSE" Yep, kicked azz others! But the fun part there is..well, simple "Americana"..mom, apple pie, baseball...AND? Soon to come is 10 foot "rollers coming at ya!"...just a lot of great fun!
And hit 6 me now "blues" on radio. Gotta find a new one. BUT?

Robert Johnson was a master..(way too many people think the 60's, 70's rock bands had the orig thought? Nope, as done long ago, just kicked up a notch, same song. That "crossroads dude is a WIZARD of real ya posted! RJ..

And I knew Muddy personal too. Went to spring break FL, and he was playing some small club there. Saw me and said "come on up back stage" This SHOULD have been the day I went to the Checker Board! DAMN!
