I still have my sound system from YEARS ago.."Vinyl Turn Table". And lots of "records". Dude down the block here, him and wife are "dancing Freaks' , Super sound system, and over 800 "Vinyl". The Goodwill here has stacks old records/jackets. Only a buck. Pick them up for the old jackets only, and if the sound still good.. I really win.
Last find was Stevie Ray Vaughn, and his brother, Jimmy...."Family Style" ..back the jacket is them as kids, on guitars. I was supposed to go to the concert a long time ago him, at the place he was killed. Didn't make it. Used to live back there, In Northern Illinois, and the place he played that night, was a Ski Hill resort, in Wisconsin. Alpine Valley.
All we know, is he ..(as always)..rocked the crowd silly..then took off in a helicopter...(its way rural, probably heading back to a room in Milwaukee).
The fog had hit, obscuring the ski hill tops. Dark. The chooper ran into the top the hill..no more SRV..dude was a rocker..(If this van a rocking, don't come a knocking!.."just open the door, and come on in") RIP, Stevie..

Here's My favorite "Floyd" song, put to one of the best videos that I have ever seen... I've linked this video before but under a different topic... The music starts about 35 seconds into it... The song and video were born for each other.... Don't cut it short, watch the whole thing... Awesome..

I can't ever remember in My life not thinking this was a kickazz tune, just way too smooth... My 3 year old Daughter was watching the monitor as I sampled this link and She began to cry, I'm not joking... She couldn't understand a word of it, but the mood and emotion of it must be universal coupled with the fact that She is waaaay sensitive... This song just has that classic Boston "build up" imbedded in it's dna... R.I.P. Brad Delp
