Concrete Blonde, holy cow I hadn't thought about that band since they were on MTV rotation... She did have a classic strong voice, and it reminded Me of another dark-haired Woman with a sure shot voice and it's a favorite that had slipped My mind... This song and a few of their others songs really transports Me back about 25 years to waking up in the summer mornings, eating some breakfast and jumpin on My bicycle to make the most of the day while this played on the radio or TV... Damn music of years gone by sounds soooo much better than it does now, this thread is a sad reminder but fun at the same time...

The Verve had some super awesome stuff from their first album, and I still give a few of those songs their play time on Youtube from time to time... This is another song from the mid-eighties that is irreplaceable in My youth and will still be good 100 years from now, can't imagine not having this song to remind me of those days...
