    X-Stream's

Guys as an avid Hydrostream fan and former owner........I was wondering How many X-Streams were produced and what models did they build......Vegas xt,V-king,hst,???etc etc?? I don't recall seeing any for sale anywhere.....Were they only built from 1993-1997? How about the build quality? Any out there for sale? Thanks

X-streams were built by Jim Contzen and John Spaeth after Jim Tucker's Canadian Edition stopped building boats in 1994...

As far as I know, not many X-Streams were built, since to the best of my knowledge, Jim acquired the Hydrostream name in 1995. I think I have the only new X-Stream remaining.

Yeah, I remember that ad too. I was pretty shocked the day I saw it - very cool. Many people think it was my boat in that ad, but it's not.

There can't be many around - I know there's an X-Stream Valero V that was for sale around here years ago. That boat belonged to JW originally. I should have bought that one; it was very nice. But I last saw it years ago and never again, so who knows where it is. I kinda like owning an X-Stream, since it's pretty unique being that it's technically a real Hydrostream, but with a story about the unique name.

That's correct, mine is a V. I sure like the YT though.

Here's a quick pic, but it's not great. I took this right before I brought it to FL. I actually thought about using it that day, but I didn't - it was too windy.

Thanks My boat was actually used three times since new, the last time being in 2004. It has a total of probably 45 minutes use on it.

My boat was custom ordered in the Mercury Racing colors by Buster's Marine in NY for the 1995 boat show, which they used it for at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City. It was never rigged, and after the show it was put into storage until I bought it in 1999. The boat was never titled yet, even to this day.

I remember the day Buster's Marine received this boat - my friend Matt and I drove there to look at it, since it was the first new Hydrostream we saw since the original company went under. Little did I know I would actually own that boat four years later.
