Whats the Best Props for Bow Lift For My Laveycraft similar to a Stoker or HST

Best Props for Bow lift on a heavy Boat???

The boat is a 1993 LaveyCraft Mod VP Sebring 20'8" The motor is a 260HP done by JSRE. 280-300HP ?? I would guess the boat weight at 1,000-1,200 Lbs Rigged without motor. I have a CLE with a bobs cone. 14" setback and Hyd transom jack.

I ran the Lavey this weekend and tried a few props. The lake was like glass and not what these boats like. I ran a 26 Mazco RE 3 but had no bow lift. Just had the hop at 65 -70 and didnt want to come out of it. I put on a 28 Big Ear Chopper and did the same. I put on a Turbo TXP OT4 27" and the boat finally had some bow lift. I ran 86.5 MPH on GPS at 6,600 RPM. I think if I had a 25" and get the RPMS in the 8,000 range it should run mid 90s plus. I am going to try and find a Bravo 1 25" to try and also a Turbo TPX OT 4 25". Anyone other help would be great.

Try out a Trophy Plus...you will love it. I still haven't found a prop that has more bow lift...and I've tried a ton (it's great knowing someone who works at a prop shop)

Tim thought that for top end would be his 26 Performer 3 blade and for all around a Turbo TXP 4OT 25". He says the Turbo has much more Bow lift and Blade area than a Trophy. Great guy to talk with.

If you can find'em, the o'l PowerTech Drag 3 & 4 blade props. They have a very high blade rake angle and provide ton's of bow lift. I've run quite a few of these and they'll lift anything you've got with ease.

I think you need to start with more set back, do a search on here I remember those boats needing a LOT of set back to get them to run properly......

A hydromotive 26 quad X OB will carry your boat well also. The OB has a bigger blade area than the OT. Anything the Bullet guys use will work well. Thats why the Turbo work well.

I was thinking of buying Bobs 2" spacers and see if that makes a difference. I have 14" now.
