Now it's 12 years later and (Sorry to keep you waiting).
Still running the same rig. Still runs as strong as ever. Same 150 Merc, same 19 pitch aluminum prop.
I did have it wet-sanded and re-gel coated professionally a while back and it continues to look good. I have had to put in a new starter and a new power trim pump. That is it over all of these years.
I was told many times years ago by folks here at the forum "to have the floor and/or transom redone because they weren't built that great back in the day and it's sure to be bad." I never did and everything continues to seem just fine? But thanks to the knowledgeable folks here, I continue to worry about my floor, transom....
Our mechanic has looked things over and feels that the hull, floor, stringers, transom... are all sound and fine. But how can he absolutely know for certain? I guess he can't. I continue to use the boat without incident. It is fun. And I worry a little bit, thanks to Scream and Fly.Last edited by Pickinator; 07-15-2021 at 12:05 PM. Reason: no good reason
