hydralic place diverter
hi, im looking for a hydralic place diverter. i have a jacuzzi yj pump, it has the manual screw type now. or is it possible to put one on this pump? any help? let me know if ya have one also?? thanx

sorry i do not believe that anyone is currently producing a diverter for the yj, place diverter makes a kit for the wj but that is of no help to you, i believe that north american marine jet may have made a unit for the yj , the last number i have on them is 501-778-4151 benton ark.

Did anyone ever find out if there is a place diverter out there for the yj

Unfortunately the only trim for a YJ (in stock configuration,noy "energized" ) is like Johnny said , You may be lucky to find a long out of production OEM Jacuzzi trim unit used or NOS, No one currently produces a Trim Diverter for the YJ and "adapting a Place diverter to on will kill the performance . A YJ is an axial flow jet and depends on an extremely large nozzle deflector/opening to operate correctly . The Place units (designed for mixed flow jets) have relatively small nozzle openings by comparison.

Thanks for your info. Do you know if there is any performance parts avalible for the yj or any cheap tricks?
