The steering cable bolts to the transom housing. A longer cable will not help you when running a snoot or diverter. The steering extension will fix the problem. Jetboat Performance, High tech Performance, CP Performance or Rex Marine have that part.

Depending on how long the droop is, you can often thread the steering tube out farther, or extend the steering cable out. Steering setups typically have about 4 or 5 turns of travel, turn it all the way out and see if it will reach, most of them will. TIMINATOR

just inheritated a 1976 cobra jet with a jet drive that needs to be restored completely need some info. on about the berkley drive any help would be nice,
