SDS Custom Propeller (DS77)

Had Steve at SDS Custom Propeller cut me some offshore style props.

Lake Michigan was too rough so could only go out on the little lake by my house. I was running lightning et's and the best speed I could get on my lake is around 84 before running out of lake. Ran the new props Saturday and ran up to 88 before running out of lake. The boat was still picking up when getting out of it, so it looks like I picked up approx. 4-5 mph or more once I can finally wind her out.
Very happy with the props and the service I got from Steve.

I live in LaPorte, IN. It is about 10 miles from New Buffalo, MI.
I normally boat on Lake Michigan and like to get up to Hardy and other
big lakes throughout the summer. Those pictures are from Hardy last year.

Yeah, I took them.

I am just up in St. Joe/Benton Harbor area. Not too far. I get to Kingsbury every once in awhile. Which lake do you play in down there? I've been eyeing some places down there.

Pine Lake in LaPorte. Gets really busy in the summer. There are a few of us that go out there and play around in the spring and fall when the crowds are smaller.

Steve let me try an offshore at point park. I was very impressed. It was the best 24 I have ever tried on my boat and I have literally tried dozens of yamahas. I told my room mate about it last nite and he got one from steve today! I guess I will still get to use it til I can come up with one.
