I had a 25' with 200 Mercs on Gil brkts. It was whie hull with red and blue trim. Loved the boat. It was a 75 MPH with that power. I believe it was rated for 600 HP. The pad made it a great boat for stability but it did pound when the water got rough. Sold the boat in NJ. I didn't know they made a 26 footer.

No badge anywhere, just put model to it by the little answers I found. Could be a 25.

When Nick bought the boat it had old Armstrong non floatation brackets that were about 20" of setback and twin 2.4L 200's with CLE gear cases. Nick pulled the motors and setbacks off and installed a Stainless Marine floatation style box with about 6" of setback if I remember correctly. We had some fun running the boat in the Okeechobee canal (Lock Park to Lake O) and trying to crack the 90mph mark. The boat was like a giant Hydrostream..you had the challenge of trying to keep it flying on the pad but.....when it got out of shape, it got OUT of shape!!! Not for the timid unless you brought a change of boxer shorts! lmao

I am glad my boat was only in the seventies. It never got out of shape but at 90 that is a lot of boat to get out of shape and recover. Change of shorts for sure LOL

I had a red and white 25. Originally a single sterndrive, I converted it to a twin outboard. Used a pair of 25 in 2.4 200's on Bob's Machine Shop jacking plates, no transom bracket. Boat ran of best of 76 with 26 Choppers. I had the props turning inboard as on the yellow boat. That was worth 3 to 4 miles an hour, carried the bow higher, however the boat was more difficult to drive at speed. I have a bunch of pictures, I'll see if I can find them and post a few. Trailer Boats magazine did an article about it back in the 90s.
This was a fun boat, however it was more of a big lake boat than a small offshore boat. It did not have enough recovery in the keel and the stem to run in big seas. Stuffed it a couple of times.18 Talon/2.4 carb SOLD
