I've fished a couple of tournaments up there....love that chain! It's a great chain to ride around and see some different scenery. The northern lakes can be a bit tricky to get into when the water is low, but the southern lakes are great! Deep, clean, and plenty of water to run!

Cypress Gardens is on the Winter Haven Chain in Polk County. Clermont Chain is near Clermont in Lake County. Both beautiful chains to boat on!

Clermonts a pretty cool place to ride ,but from what I understand the water is still realy low . There is a group of local performance boaters there in town that are out mostly on sundays . They put in on a private beach over on LakeShore dr. . They are a freindly bunch andas long as there on the beach , you will be welcome to join in with them . there is an STV and about 6 or 8 diferant types of HydroStreams ,and a couple of other unsuspecting boats that may suprise you . If you come down to visit , let me know before you make the trip ,and Imay be able to round up a couple of more boats from my area to take a day trip on over .

Ps. Is your uncle a performance boater also ? If so , He will know these guys .
They hange out at a shop in town , where they tinker with there boats when needed .Last edited by RNM018; 08-18-2009 at 08:02 PM.
