    Mercury 250 EFI prop

I am running a 2000 250 efi on a 93 22 concept with a 23 chopper( I believe if not it's a 22) which it takes me a while to get the boat on a plane especially when I have a couple of people on it, it even takes longer to plane I have to put everyone in the front of the boat to plane, the engine is boarded out with bigger pistons. So what should b a good prop for off the whole and top speed I was told my chopper was for top speed. So what's a good prop for my setup.

Not to add any more confusion to this thread, but My 24 Pantera Hull isnt THAT far off from your 22 concept. I run a Solid Hub old school 23 mirage, best prop I have. I also have a 21 Mirage Plus, not a bad prop, but the standard mirage handles better. I run a 225 carb motor, and have NO Problem getting on plane, top speed 55-59 depending on weight..

well I got mine up to 69 on a gps but I think I can hit low 70's but it's just getting on a plane is what I'm worried about because it just goes to high in rpm for me to get on a plane and I'm guessing that can cause some damage to the engine doing that everytime I wanna get the boat on a plane especially when I got 4 or 5 people on the boat

Thats strange, cuz I run a 23, and can only get 58 at around 5200 RPM, I doubt 300RPM gets you 11MPH, either I have major slip, or you have near 0% slip at WOT, but tons down low(prop cavitaion on takeoff)?? Cant tell without the prop calc. right now. Is that 69 GPS MPH, or speedometer??

May have a difference, do you have a weight on your boat, I will run the prop calc, and see what you need.

Assuming I got your gear ratio close(1.67), I suppose it is possible, but comes out to 3% prop slip which is unheard of, I wouldnt change a thing. You could get a prop to get you on plane better( I would start with the 23 Mirage or mirage plus as mentioned above), but you WILL suffer on top end.
