i have a friend bringing a eliminator by today for me to check out.im not crazy about tunnel hulls but the price is right for all the parts in the boat.it has a 427bbc, i think a berkley or dominator pump, runs and is in great shape.if i want i can find a hull that i like and put all the parts in it later.the price is REALLY good.hopefully ill have some picture the next day or so.

I don't know if I'd take a running, good shape Eliminator and pull the parts for another hull! If its a good deal go for it, they hold their value (at least as well as any jet boat does), run it for a while. You might just decide to keep it! Good luck.

Hey dude,, Ya never called me Sunday,, did ya check out the squirter ? I ended up cutting the top ov' one of my knuckles off Sunday morning and kinda dampened my day anyway .......
You may be surprised on the Eliminator, they handle well, handle chop better than a flatter hull....

i was bout half way there when i remembered i was supposed to call you.the hull scared me pretty bad and one of the guys made a comment that scared me too.he said that what the tach was reading in rpms is about what you are doing in mph.they told me it would do a about 70mph! so was the motor turning 7000rpms?i dont know.they also told me later that they dont know exactly how fast it goes.either way the hull was the biggest thing to me.it had way too many scratches and half ass repairs for me.

there is a long story about the boat but ill most likely get it for about $2000.it was given to a friend of mine that doesnt want it so he is gonna give it to me.i told him that i didnt want it for nothing so i told him i would give some money.he hasnt worked in over a year due to a work related accident and could use the money.he would probably give me the boat but im not that kind of person.he is even going and getting for me,letting me run it for a couple of weeks to see if i like it or not and to make sure everything works like it supposed to.

Since you were also looking at v-drives as a possibility...check the forum for jetboats...there is a guy selling a very nice v-drive boat that is going through a divorce and doesn't want the wife to get it. I took a look at the pics of it...it's awesome. He is located in Ohio.

I bought an Eliminator, nad was concerned about whether I'd like it or not, after running it for about 5 hours I'm not sure I'd go back to my old Tahiti V-hull. The ride is much better, turns are like a go-kart (flat, not banking over like a V hull), and runs mid-70's on a stock 225 Yamie with a 26 race prop...
I paid $4500, and had to re-build the Yamie. If you can get one with a BBC and a jet that runs 70's jump on it. If nothing else clean it up and resell it....
