My "guys" prefer the TDR resin reed. over either of the ones you mentioned.. Turning them 11,000 + and "living" thru the season without issues...

jay is right, the two stage, and carbon fiber reeds are not the hot set up for all out racing.i have ccms epoxy glass reeds in all my motors fishing and race and they all work great. better power, revs, and fuel mileage. ive got 4 hours above 9000rpms on the 015 drag reeds and they look like new, very stong no chipping like carbon and they are VERY AFFORDABLE.

If you're gonna push Chris' reeds you need to do a lil better job. Cajun, lemme put it like this: You can buy them TDR reeds for about 70 bucks more than the Chris Carson reeds, and live happily ever after. Or, you can get some reeds from Chris, and never worry about breaking one again. I run the .015 reeds, and if I can't break them, you can't. If you wanna know why, pm me.

I'll tell ya this: Once you run Chris Carson reeds you'll never run anything else. And to top it all off he's got some VERY interesting stuff coming out, that might prove to be even better than the reeds he has out now. Gonna be tough to do that, but he's workin on it Just give him a call and he'll build whatever you need.
