    Cleaning canvas

Can anyone tell me the best way to clean canvas covers. My canvas are turning black on the inside from to much moisture in the boat.
    Thanks

I'd like to know as well, dad's canvas is getting black spots to. I figure its some kind of mold but can't find any thing to remove it. Bleach works good on mold but will eat the canvas.

I used to use Starbrite sail and canvas cleaner and then follow up with 303 High Tech fabric guard. West marine sells this stuff. It kept my blue sunbrella looking great. Frank

My whole cover is getting moldy. I wonder if I could through it in a super large washer? OR is the best way just to get a brush and wash it in the yard?

I ended up cleaning mine by hand using 303 products and it worked great. I was also wondering about the large washing machine but at a local canvas shop they advised me against that.
